Well I never thought it would happen but it has. I am a knitter that likes to get things done so lace knitting has never been something which I thought I would ever do, but I have been converted. Recently we were going on a long flight so I thought something light and easy to knit would be good in the handbag so I put in one of our latest Lace patterns, 1 ball of Lace from the Naturally range and a pair of Bamboo Circulars from our gorgeous needle range. It was allowed through with no problems so on board and tired of TV I pulled it out and got cracking.
All I can say is fabulous, I have completed both these scarves in 2 weeks, just doing a few rows here and there. Lace was a beautiful yarn to knit, I used shade 13 which is one of this seasons new shades but there are 4 other new shades and also 12 shades which were launched last year. Lace is 60% Merino & 40% Dehaired Angora, there is 227m per ball and is also part of the Child Cancer program which we raise money for. The pattern I used was the newly released N1156 we have also recently released some other new patterns using our beautiful Lace Yarn.
I urge you to go and buy a ball each of these scarves only took a ball each and the end result is so soft and delicious, I have made these for relatives who live in Denmark so I am sure they will be appreciated.
